“You're seriously asking me about the vector? Jesus Christ kid, there is NO vector!”
— The Colonel, to Reznick, in the bunker scene. THE line. If you only know one thing about this movie it is this.

“Water doesn't negotiate.”
— The Colonel. Said twice in the film. Different meaning each time. Chills.

“The readings are off the chart. This whole valley is a trigger.”
— Angela Voss. The trigger line.

“I don't do countdowns.”
— Reznick, during a countdown.

“Tell the Army I quit. Tell the river I'm sorry.”
— Reznick, walking into the spillway. My personal favorite.

“You had sixty seconds, Reznick. The river's got forever.”
— The Colonel, final exchange. What a villain.

“Vector zero... vector nothing.”
— Reznick, the last line of the film, as the water settles. NOTE: Steve H. maintains the line is “vector zero, vector nothin'” (no G) and after listening on headphones I believe he is right, but I am leaving it as printed on the back of the box.

Note from Steve H.: In the bunker scene when the Colonel delivers the vector line, he is wearing pressed uniform slacks with a knife-edge crease. In the very next scene at the spillway he is in field khakis with no crease and there is no scene between them in which he could have changed.
